I have used the Coleman Camping Cot for many burns. I usually add a memory foam topper and sleep like a baby. Many burners also like the Trifold Memory Foam Mattresses.
The playa becomes pitch black at night, so pack several headlights, and LED lanterns to brightly illuminate your tent. Multiple light sources will prevent you from fumbling around blindly while inside your temporary home.
I enjoy placing rugs all over the inside of my tent. The softness is nicer on bare feet than the hard playa ground. They also help to keep the dust from swirling around in your tent.
A chair is helpful in your tent to put on shoes or clothes and also to socialize with your neighbors at camp.
A folding table and organizer can be used to hold food or clothing for the event. There are multiple storage organizers to choose from depending on the size of your tent.
If you would like to save some money, but still want dust free clean clothes, look at these extra large moving bags. They are similar to Ikea bags, but they zip up!
Since I use the Coleman cot, I enjoy having a bedside table on each side of the bed. There are many to choose from online. I prefer the tables to collapse for easier packing.
I love this cold-weather two-person sleeping bag! It dropped into the 40s at night in 2023 and this sleeping bag kept me warm.
I have used three of these fans in my tent for a few years now. They are battery operated, but can also use ac power. I bring a few because the Shiftpod is a large tent and these fans are a good price.
